Between "les Sables d'Olonne" and "La Rochelle", "la Faute-sur-Mer" welcomes many tourists during summertime. The fine sand beach located 100m from the campsite stretches on 10 kilometres.

There the sea is mild, the sunshine exceptional. Naturism is tolerated on a part of the beach ("Pointe d'Arcays").

A pine tree forest enables long walks. A bridge separates from "l'Aiguillon-sur-Mer", picturesque for its fishing port, its mussel culture and oyster farming .
